Music:oh, ugh, Spousal Unit just put on a lounge singer!
I'm here on somewhat false pretenses - Spousal Unit plays the tuba, but I play the (gasp!) saxophone! Tenor and bari (not at the same time!), to be more specific. As you all know, the saxophones combine the worst features of brass instruments with the worst features of woodwind instruments. I will admit to having honked on a baritone horn a couple times, but I really love my saxophones, even though my bari is one I bought used - built in 1955 and looks every day of it. I'm hoping some of you will have tips for tarnish and pitting - Spousal Unit's never had to do that to the tuba, although it has needed some dents hammered out - so I need advice. Is Brasso any good? Thanks for any help, and I promise not to talk about reeds while I'm here.
